  The deck was also under maintanance. Which I didn't mind at all but I was really upset that the website didn't say it was under maintanance. We would have just chosen another room to stay in with a deck.

  The topping on the cake is if you go all the way up the stairs to the tower, there's a terrible smell. My boyfriend looked around to see where it was coming from and in the chest, there was feces! It wasn't even fresh! It was all dried up and it had white mold growing on it. You could tell that it's been there for a while.

  I stayed in the Mt Baker room with a fireplace and jetted tub. Overall this room was a good value for its size, however I was very surprised to see the tub and bathroom in such disrepair. There was obvious water damage around the tub, the linoleum was coming up at the edges and there were soft spots in the floor. The tub even had a hole in it! In addition, prior to booking my stay, I emailed with some questions and never got a response. I never saw an "official" lodge employee. The front desk was manned by a person that was also waiting tables at the restaurant.

  nice place to stay, I would of rated it 5 stars, if they provided down stairs units, other than that, I highly recommend staying there.

  My boyfriend and I stayed in room 9, sumas mt. The website said there was a deck and a flat screen tv for that room. When we got there, the tv was a dinosaur! It wasnt a flat screen at all and if you walked around the tv, the screen would blur out.

  What makes it worse is that when we went to tell the staff about the poop, they knew exactly what we were talking about. They just let it sit there, knowing about it! When we checked out, we went to see if they had cleaned it up yet and it was still there, untouched. I bet it's still there.
